car auctions, mate try a few auctions in glasgow...... can get a decent bargain in some of them.

Local ones tend to be shit i.e. the racecourse, and Wilsons of Dalry or whatever its called

Nova 1.2 8v, Nova SRi, Nova 1.5 TD, Nova 1.5D and if ur lucky, u might pick up a corsa 1.2 8v for that money.

Woteva it is, its gonna be 10+ years old. But u gotta go for cars u know will last u at least a little while.

Other considerations.......Old astra mk2s, For Escort/Fiesta 1.8D etc...

Nova SRi in Breeze Blue with leccy windows, SRi spoiler and black vinyl down the bottom.

Would still swap my SRi corsa for a GSi Nova anyday.

My mate's got the mintest one of these u wud ever see. Breeze blue as well! lol

1991, 22k miles, garaged since day 1, fVsh, proper show car, no been modded at all. On 15" softstars, lowered 40mm with irmscher stuff. polished every weekend without fail

It cost him well over the odds when he bought it a year back, but its gotta b the tidyiest con course nova i have ever seen. Only things done is Clifford 600 and like 15% tints all round (both done pro)

Before he passed, i drove it for him, and its stupidly fast for some reason!

U wont get one like that for £500 tho

Matt
