how do these work ???
does it cost any extra to use these ??
coz i gota send sum1 £190.....but i cant be arsed to be waiting 4 cheques to clear...etc

yeah they charge you a little extra.but not a lot bassically walk in to the post office hand over cash they give you postal orders send them off and then the bod at the other end cashes them

You buy them at post offices, and the post office makes a charge for the service. On 190 I'd expect to pay about 10-15 on top as a fee. Banks can produce a bankers draft- pretty much same thing, and with some accounts your bank will prepare you a draft for free, with notice.
