I used elbow grease and Auto Glym Tar Remover, followed by a good clean and polish

cc , sum old biddy will prob swing open car door in supermarket and mark ur door, least these r easier and cheaper to paint

i voted c/code coz since mine have been painted, ive had 2 scratches in them! jus think, if they were there, therd b 2 dents and maybe 2 scratches! i kno what i rather do, paint the strips urself (£15 max) or get dents and scratches outa ur door (£££) heres a pics of my car, recently did hte handles and strips myself!

The warn water and fingers to take the left over bit off

Much better with them off....
