My car went into the body shop on Tuesday to have a few lil bits done - after being severely pissed around by them (long story) I finally got it back middle of Saturday morning.

Just had the Postert grill and Irmscher rear bumper fitted, and the arches, skirts and roof rails colour-coded.

I need to go and get my exhaust position tweaked a bit now because it doesn't sit central in the bumper recess, but that's easily sorted Might be a good time to ask abuot getting another 2 pipes done on the other side...

Thanks for the comments peeps

K17STY - Yes I love your car
PaulW - On the whole the colour match is pretty good, moreso in daylight than the car park lighting. There's places where it's not 100% but it's just been done and kind of needs to weather a bit I guess.

Alan - Rims are changing very shortly...

Thank you folks

Munchie - I'll get some better pictures during the week. Yup had the roof rails done and also the black section which continues down from them alongside the windscreen - looks alright IMO

I didn't get the lower Postert grill because the front is only temporary until I can afford the Irmscher Airdam

Well basically I took last Monday off of work to go down, get the quote, arrange the date and pick up the rear bumper from Vauxhall. Anyhoo he said it was only a couple of days work tops, and I could drop it in as soon as I liked. As I was supposed to be doing the paintballing/quad biking in Yorkshire this weekend I said fine I'll drop it in tomorrow so it'll definately be ready for Friday afternoon then.

Left it there Tuesday at about 12ish in the end. He called me on Weds to check a few details and was apparently still on track to collect Friday. ANyhoo I called Fri morning to arrange the time, and the first thing he said was can you get it tomorrow... I explained that he knew I needed it for Friday night, and that was no good - he whinged but said it'd be done by 4PM

I called at 30 and he said it still wasn't ready, and I'd have to wait until Sat AM Once again I said this was no good so he said he'd keep at it and call as soon as it was done...

Never got a phone call back so my old man gave me a lift over there in the end and surprise surprise, he'd pissed off home. So eventually he called on the Saturday morning and told me I could collect at 11

It wouldn't have been so bad but I gave him more than enough time to do the work, and he was well aware I needed it back for the Friday evening!
