£2,200 for an L reg 93 calibra with 123k on clock but major rebuild at 80k ?

Are you interested in the car or the parts?

Ignore any quoted rebuilds. Unless you've done it yourself or you've got a few months warranty with the engine/car anything could fuck up.

planning on sellin the calibra shell, heated leather seats, any interior gadgets or any ICE in it, keep the engine, gearbox,suspension,brakes and driveshafts etc im hoping that if i spend £2,200 then i'll get about £800-900 back from selling the bits

If you're stripping find a shoddy one, you'll save a grand.

You'll have a very hard job selling a second hand shell.

best to just to speak to a scrappy or lee mitchell or beardy and ask them about getting you one!! then they could fit it as well

You could get an engine, gearbox, ecu, wiring loom and warranty for around £1500.
