I did it for an car that was written off by the insurance company. it had a owner change late last year

Same here. My last car was wrote off by the insurance company in October....shows last change of keeper as December 8th

just checked me car and it was made in dec 99 yet had a owner change in march 99 wtf car wasnt registered until the car was delievered to the vaux dealer lol

thats because the plate was registered first they do that sometimes

Its the car that gets registered not the plate, their system is fooked cos the car only gets registered a couple of days before delivery (for a new car), if its a pre-reg or ex Service loan car it will be classed as a used car, but still the reg dat would have to be after the build date.

Wow i typed my old car E131NRN still going changed owner 23 october 2001 with 6 previous owners. I thought it would be long gone

my dads old saab, which he traded in for 500quid, even though it had over 100,000 miles and failed mot pretty badly, is still on the road now! 4 years on. crazy
