Myself and many other musicians i speak to agree that he is by far one of the best guitarist's in the world by far.
Only in certain solo's does he use repitition to give it a better effect. Solo's like one and fade to black do have alot of repitition, and he is playing quickly! Where u got the idea that he just does it to make it look like he's playing quick ill never know
