I kinda know roughly what the price is for the engine and conversion...but before I make any decision, I want to know what other things I need to consider and buy.

How much should I budget for?

lee mitchell or beardy do a drive in drive out conversion for about 1500 notes me thinks.....

dont think so, wouldnt be to much more for 2lt brakes etc....u2u lee mitchell or beardy mate

suspension - well depends what you get say coilovers £500

brakes - £100 or so

engine - around £500 inc box

then allow for other bits and bobs so you could be talking about £2500 - £3k

maybe it does never looked into it, i thought the £1500 just included pvd kit etc etc.

£1500 all in price (inclusive of engine)

Other costs:
Suspension
Brakes
Exhaust

Other stuuf includes:
Better tyres to deal with the power.
Strut braces etc..

if your serious about it and want decent brakes susp etc etc..

engine and m-tec kit etc - 1500
brakes 4pots etc - 600+
susp - 500+

thats it.

you dont need strut braces
you dont need 'better' tyres

Lee includes temporary joining of the manifold to your current exhaust system... I then had my exhaust redone at Powerflow from manifold back to my old backbox...

the joining has to take place as the manifold will not connect to OE corsa zorst otherwise as the astra manifold goes one way n the corsa goes the other way

yeah, u cut the bottom of the astra downpipe off , turn it the other way then weld it to the corsa zorst

i normal try and throw 2lt 16v brakes in as £500 for a engine is like top price so when doing the deal for the engine with whoever i get it for i get them to throw some brakes in
and as for suspention u only really need to lower it
so thats about £60 for some springs

so thats about £1600 with brakes and susp thrown in

Ive jus put v6 vectra discs on me car an it only cost£250 an it stops on a pin now if thats any good
