How much did you pay to fully colour-code your car? I've been quoted 470 for all the work, bumpers, arches and sideskirts.
I think it seems a bit on the high side.

How long was your car in the garage getting done?

got my front bumper, rear bumper, 4 arches (all standard) and a GSI spoiler done for 170. I took all the bits off my car so the guy didn't have to store my car- worked out cheaper

Take everything off, sand them down (this is where all the labour comes in), Take thm to the bodyshop for spraying and it will cost u half as much!

i think its shocking how they can charge 470 when they will probably only spend 2 hours doing it. bodyshop my bro works at turns cars round so quick its untrue, they would probably have you plastic off and sprayed within an hour.

its easy take the archs off, rub them down with 180, then 320, then 800, then plastic prime, then base coat then laquer. then when its dry sand them with 1500 to remove the lumps then polish.

Fair point, i went to my local scrappie and got an arch for 2 quid and practiced on this first, if your no good dont go any further!
180, 320, 600/800. use each 1 till the scratches from the previous 1 have gone, the primer will soon show up any spots u missed.

depends if its plastic of fibreglass, fibreglass kits are a pig to fit cos they never make them right, lol.

other than that, plastic ones are the same to paint.
