give me a long wheelbase version for a bit of stability, and bored out to 1180cc, wider rubber, and get the Rizla Suzuki BSB paint-job on it, and I'd not mind being seen round a track in that
Cadwell would be a laff

wodge 1 or 2 turbo gixxers in any motor and it'll fly faster than gary glitter when he heard michael jackson wanted a baby sitter.
nice 11k rpm redline and power delivery so fierce through the whole rev range it'll have you pinned back into your seat. If it can lift a bike's front wheel off the gas in 4th at around 130mph and 2 more gears to go, should suit any light car
Tho 2 turbo hayabusas would be better

almost anything is possible in a smart car, turn off the Electonic Slip protection and you can get the standard ones sidewards in the wet, enough power and he front wheels will come up (been in a 120bhp smart) they are so fun, love the little things!
He he to the limit!!

saw this too at the autosport show, the funny thing is that the 180bhp engine actually makes the car lighter and makkes it poss to go to 130mph haha, was chatting to the guy who builds them. £6000+vat for the engine and subframe etc, + fitting though

right....180bhp in a tiny car with a 6 speed box, and it still only does a measely 130mph? The ratios must be damn short on that

Would be better in the roadster IMO... I took a standard one for a drive & they are WICKED!!! Only letdown was the SLOW gearchange & the heafty pricetag... Just couldn't justify paying over 13k for a Smart...
