Cant find a decent priced C20XE engine anywhere lookin on mig for somethin, but either there complete cars being broke without engine or the engines already gone.

looked on autotrader for some gte16v's or cavs/callys, but still nothing to justify the price!

just lookin for one with a good 'box, dont matter if it smokes a bit just as long as its running now and has a good block & head, as its gona be rebuilt anyway!

I might have another C20XE, F20 and ECU, loom, etc coming my way.

I'm trying to see it running, but not sure what's available on the car to get that far

Should be about £400 if you're interested!

if it comes at the right time will be interested, when you expecting it? i'm spending what i've got atm gettin a roll cage sorted for next month

Well the bloke's getting back to me in the next week or so I hope.

I've got mine being rebuilt shortly, so if this new one doesn't need to much doing to it, I'll have that and you can have my rebuilt one (but it'll cost a few hundred more!! lol).

Prob best just getting a used one and rebuilding it yourself tbh - half of the fun... altho I'm not really rebuilding it myself

Engine:-

Fully rebuilt redtop, flushed out cylinder head rebuilt with new set of hydrolic lifters and brand new cams, new gasket set just bought and included are another set of valve stem oil seals etc. bottomend fully rebuilt and sprayed blue, has brand new water pump and oil pump etc. engine does not need runnning in as has done a few thousand miles. Complete with loom and loads of spares including another block for repair can sell with standard manifold or 2.5" performance 4 into 1 manifold, also includes brand new induction kit. Does come with gear box and clutch but they the problem i had was getting the input shaft thru, i think its got a bend in it so i was gonna replace the gearbox.

...£500 ono
