I hav some glasses but very rarely wear them coz they irritate me... also £25 is bout right for daily disposables... I cant have thenm tho coz it takes a coupla ays 2 get used 2 new lenses!

donna again,
why did u choose daily over monthly/3 monthly etc?
i take it the only difference is that you do not need to buy solution and so on?
does this usually cost more on top?

When the contact split in my eye it hurt but I could still see. The contact was caught at the very top of my eye under my eyelid so didn't effect my vision. If you have any major problems you can go to the eye hospital at you local hospital. Ive been wearing contacts for about 3 years and thats the only real problem ive had.

Pain in the arse though, keep finding used contacts that have gone hard all over my bedroom floor, along with the mass of blonde molting hair!!!

What shes saying is that they do suit her, she just hasn't tried decent glasses and she thinks she looks stupid

I wear lenses i get a pair a month, cant think how much mum paid for them but now im 18 ive got to so i best find out 
Have a feeling tho they are £30 a month from boots, i was with scrivens but mum changed to boots about 4 months ago for the same price, only difference is scrivens gave me free replacements if i lost/damaged any, but boots charge for replacements, think i may try specsavers now!
Cnt think if im long or short sighted, long i guess

Same here tho
Keep getting told that wearing cntacts permanently will giv u terrible eyes in older age (eyes not eyesight)

i have worn glasses since i was 7 for PC, reading etc and to this day, after 14 years and many sets i still do not belive i suit glasses or feel comfortable in them

I chose dailys because they are convenient. You put them in in the morning and chuck them out at night. I couldn't be bothered with all that cleaning stuff. If you have monthlys you have to clean them before you put them in clean them when you take them out and you've got to really look after them.
The monthly lenses are thicker then the dailys. I found the monthlys to be a bit uncomfortable where as the dailys I can't tell if they're in my eye or not and I don't have any problems with dust getting in my eye where as my friend that wears monthly has loads of problems.

I don't feel comfortable wearing sunglasses so why would I want to wear something I feel uncomfortable in everyday. Ive been wearing contacts for long enough now and have had no problems, if the worst comes to the worst I will have to buy some but until then im happy.

This is correct i once slept in mine and too em out in the morning and pulled a layer of skin/scratched my left eye, just couldnt wear em for 3 days and it was fine

If you go there they will give you a trial period. So you could have a trial with the monthlys for a month and then if you want to trial the dailys they will probably give you 7 days worth. You have to have an eye test and a contact lense fitting first where they teach you how to use them.

£700 per eye and it lasts until old age. Thats an excellent saving

How does everyone wash theres?
Do you change the soloution in the case everyday?? I usually forget to, so just put the lenses in it at night take em out in the morning and put them in..

there are problems with some of the surgery tho i have heard.
chance of going blind or permanent ghosting.
cleaning, wear them most days anyway so clean em when i take them out.

A couple of people at work have had laser surgery and have been fine. Theres risks in any surgery which is why you have to sign a contract with all the risks listed.

i get the £12 montly ones from specsavers
i dont wash them tho jus bung them in the holders with new solution each night.
slept with them few times after college for few hrs. wake with really dry eyes n hard to take em off
