I'm thinking of buyinf these wheels for my 106

If there are only 4 and these are bigger than 13", can i still use my 13" as a spare? Is this legal? Will my car pass it's MOT like this?

Thanks for your help !!!

The mark 1 is 3 stud. Mine is a mark 2 which has 4 stud.

So i would need another 14" or what ever size rim and then it would be legal?

SHould pass the mot...as long as the spare has legal tread on yes......if the spare has no tread on loose it for the mot.....

As for drivin with the wrong size on im not sure......how ever i think u ll find most cars with alloys even new ones carry a small spare so i doubt there will be a problem.....not 100 percent though

the average size alloys on cars are 15" and the spare in boot is most likely to be a 13".

the overall size of the rim + tyre should be the same. 13" rims have bigger rubber 17" is bigger rim smaller rubber but overall wheel size is the same.

Wheels at the back can be larger and wider than the ones at the front but cant be vise versa for an MOT, it is also not necessary to have a spare tyre, but if you do take one make sure its road legal.
