some radio removal tool, or some bent wire, i dont think that the cav had the iso plugs as standard, so take some wire cutters and some connectors if u dont have the adapter.

You used to be able to use a coathanger marv but some can be a bitch to get out..There's only £2 though so it's well worth it.

Is it a vaux radio?

why mess around with coat hangers and pop rivets when proper removal keys are only £2

the cav will be iso

so whatever stereo you get should plug straight in,

only thing you may need to sort out is the 2 lives, on all vauxhalls they are the opposite way round!
before chopping any wires check the stereo keeps its memory!
chop the yellow and red wires on the iso block that ya get with the stereo and swap them round

yellow to red
and
red to yellow

bobs ya uncle!

if its a sony, the removal tools may be different, I know my kenwood had a funny flat fork type tool which slid down the side.

Try the tools of the new sony unit to see if they work
