Ask him to smooth the boot aswell for £300.Then it would be worth it

Unless you have a smooth boot already?

I didn't say it was a really crap price - I just said 'Is it worth £150'?

Will you really gain from having it done? Depends if u have plenty of cash go for it - if its your last £150 ur spending spend it on something else.

it amazing isnt it about how many people know about how to price bodywork jobs. they dont take into consideration about materials/labour. really pissed me off. do people expect panel beaters/painters to live on fresh air?? like for instance i wouldnt start a corsa tailgate for any less than 300 notes (to flush it) yet on another site when someone asked roughly how much to do it it started a whole argument where people were saying this one and that one would do it for like 150quid??? how could neone flush a corsa tailgate for 150 quid and make it worth their while... i dunno. everyones a fucken expert...

Yeah, my tailgates not flushed, he quoted me £200 to smooth the boot, £150 to smooth in saxo to gsi and £180 to put in a recess into my kingdom rear and fully respray it. Thats £500 total.

£500 does seem pretty dear for that lot. I paid £650 for my old 106 bumpers to be cut and shut/extended etc and some mirrors to be sprayed + the bonnet smoothed which took him a LOT of hours to get the bumpers exact and strong

save and try and have the boot done at the same time, should save abit of money and time that the car is in the bodyshop, if not go for the 1 which gives most visual impact
