vw made the gti badge what it is today so they can stick it on what they like! and the 1.8 t golf gtis aint slow at all

read somewhere that the cupra r now uses the same engine out of a audi tt. i might be wrong

i thought it was with half a tank of petrol and 2 ppl in the car (ok thats half load )

the 150bhp 1.8t gti is 8.5 0-60 and my m8 and i commented on that beein poor....anyway the other day he told me he went out in one and was very impressed! so make ur own conclusions! (paper facts are not always accurate!)

and my m8 who told me that has a polo gti, which is 8.7 to 60 (remember thats with 2ppl and half tank of fuel) and he said the golf 150 gti was deffinately quicker than his, but not too much.

i think you should drive both, and then you'll realise that the tdi is better, best mk4 golf in the range imo ( i haven't driven an r32 yet so will not pass judgment)
