problem is if everyone had the same idea like the way its going with vaux, as in old school vaux rims, huge power bling and irmscher! like im following, all modified cars would the same to a certain extent just different colours!

Its good to see the mad whacky kits etc but thats not for me and i can appreciate the work gone into them, its just to showcase a companies work rather than be a driveable everyday car!

my 2 p's worth, not saying i like jap kits and 19's but gotta be different!

No, different for different's sake is clearly wrong.

I could quite easily take my bumpers off the car and drive around, claiming to be different when infact, it's just stupid.
Same goes for all these cars with plastic tat bumpers.

Not different, stupid.

I wouldnt bodykit a car again, too much work avoiding potholes and I would much rather go along the engine route. I see why quite a few of you think GSI kit and speedlines are a godsend now Less is definately more

However I think Jag and Cheeky corsa look totally minted as they are well thought out motors

I agree with most of the replies in terms of having subtle mods instead of extreme ones. At the end of the day if somebody is going to put on a big bodykit, wheels etc. and they like it, thats all thats matters. You will always get a difference in opinion when it comes to modifing cars.

some people like big kits etc, and surely if they like their car with big wheels and bodykits then what does it matter, their happy..
its why magazines like max power and revs sell so well.
whats wrong is people trying to force their opinions onto others, like some people unfortunatly do on this site..

As long as people are making cars that are so tasteless it makes a sparrow cry, this conversation will continue.

But take the UV car, yeah its different but its hideous... its a shame really that big wheels seem to dominate what happens to the rest of the car

everyone says 'oh gove them credit for making something different' but why when it looks like the back end of a horse??!!!!

My 2p

I totally agree robbo. its not about making that most outrageous un-drivable car known to man, its about making them go damn faster down 1/4 miles and round bends, whilst making them look every bit as good as a slim naked woman
