because i got told that coz its only a 1ltr, whatever springs i got at the front wouldnt go as low as it said coz the engine is lighter, so if i got 40 it would only drop about 30 at the front, but as u can see it seems to be slammed the full 60 at the front, i may change the back springs to 60

is that the £199 kit cos i was thinkin of gettin that when l get my alloys sorted. Is it good quality ???

I think u should leave it 40mm at the rear, think it looks good an u will still be able 2 carry 3 in the back i'd a thought

Thats mine down 60mm all round.

The first pic with the mk1 gti shows the rear of mine as it sits.
The ground is uneven on the other pic so the rear is sitting a tad higher.

Go 60mm at the rear but be ready for a rattling exhaust with a passenger in the back.

I dont get scrubbing at the back with 3 in and a full boot.

Just the exhaust rests on the rear axle and vibrates.

Yeah, sometimes happens to me. Mine sits a bit lower because of the ICE anyway, but 4 in the back, full boot and no scrubbing........means the lad can go for 60mm.
