Just got myself some JBL GTO505ce components.

Aint got a clue where to mount my crossover. Giving me a bit of trouble because I can't think of anywhere to put it.

Any ideas people??

Yeah behind th edoor card is a good idea, do you mean where the arm rest kind thing is??

I dunno if I want it on show or not, was thinking of putting them in the footwell to the outside of the car, right next to the door like just under the bonnet pop on the right, same on the left.

Mine are behind the door card, where the arm rest bulge is
Cut a square out on the inside, keeps it away from sight and keeps the car looking clean.

Yeah bit of an arse though because I cant get my door card off, cant get the window winder off.

Just attached em to the door pocket but forgot about the winder and it wouldnt turn with them where they were. Looks a mess now, nothing has gone well with this, may just leave it till tomorrow, still need to find somewhere.

Can you get door pockets in black as standard on any model??

Post 97 Sport, SXi, CDX... etc... Mine are horrible gray colour

Yeah, never understood why everything else is black but the pockets are grey.

I will be nipping down the scrappies tomorrow to try and get hold of everything black interior wise, dont like my wanky grey, black will look much better with silver car.

Yeah everything is going black and silver inside, already done the MFD centre console and clock surround silver, gonna do the handles etc later, and get calibre leather interior in black.

Yeah, its a bit of a ball ache, called it quits for tonight, gonna start again tomorrow fresh of mind and ready for action

Will be putting them somewhere different now that I will have to decided tomorrow as I have just remembered I have a spare amp to run them, so go get an amp wiring kit and distribution block (2 amps and head unit need a feed from + pos) so that will sort things out a bit, gonna commit the whole day to rewiring my ICE again. Proper sort it.
