Hasting Direct is the cheapest insurer I came up with. £1200 3rd party fire & theft for a 1.2 Corsa. Age 18. Fuly comp is £1800

don't go with either of these insurance companies, i have been covered with both and i have to agree they are the biggest pile of shite when it comes to customer services. i tried to make a claim off http://www.colinjinsuranceservices.co.uk
but got nothing but an engaged tone.

you would be best trying someone like http://www.clickhereyougimpforinsurance.org.uk ....highly recommended IMO

You will lose more money than the extra insurance will be buying and selling a 1.2
