Was in a mates corsa the other night when he raced a clio 16V. Both cars were evenly matched. Then a pug joined in wiv the sport and could not get passed any of them. Reading the other post from sooty made the SRi sound crap witch it is not. Not saying the pug is crap but it is not as good as sooty is trying to claim. rematch if wanted!!!!!!!!

I had a race with both at the same time... I come out on top... im standard... but to be fair the clio never had a real look because I was concentrating on the corsa c

richy ur brakes werent makiing a difference

i was in richy's car when it happened, all 3 cars were pretty much even but the clio and pug were raping the corsa on the bends

all cars were std

my clio would have left 'em all

i have also raced a corsa SRi and have pulled comfortably away

Just because the pug never came past you doesnt mean he couldnt, maybe he didnt have enuff road or maybe he just didnt want to, i have "raced" a vectra 1.8 b4 and could have easily gone past, but i didnt mainly cus i couldnt be arsed, im sure mr veccy driver was probably thinking he held me off and it was even, just like u are

so is the 0-60 8.2 or wotever crap they publish, fact is i have run a 1/4 at 15.2 at 91 mph, it dus not take me 8 seconds to the 9mph to get me to 100.

We have all been told about pugs figures and how they use passengars luggage etc!
