Nope, F20 wont unless you ahve the limiter raised.

You can only do about 58.something on 15"s even if it shows 60 on your speedo.

Read a massive post on mig about it. Thats how i got my 59.4mph on my current wheel/tyre setup.

U need to be in 3rd to hit 60mph

if you car has little power for this to effect it too much in the first place then top speed will probably be reduced also.

std clio 16v can nail 60 in about 7.7 and mine is a fair bit faster than std (even on 17s) so anything less than that

if i put some smaller rims on then god knows

I can hit about 57-58mph in 2nd, and thats banging right on the limiter, It makes sense to change before the limiter though.

has anyone actually been timed properly with proper timing equipment or are all these times that have been recorded on a stop watch and watching the speedo till it hits 60

BTW mine hit 60 in 9.5 seconds when properly timed on proper timing gear

good good. just pissed off with people saying things like my 1.2 does 0-60 in under ten seconds when they have timed it using the speedo and a stop watch. probably the most inaccurate way of timing you can get

yup, speedos are inaccurate anyway, thn you factor in the human reactions etc etc and it all becomes very suspect

yes and this is why every 1.2 nova/corsa driver thinks they can hit 60 in about 9 seconds

what was your time and what engine and extras you got?

yes, the book times are strange in that they always seem slower than the car is actually capable of, probably for insurance group reasons

All my times have been timed with an APEXI RSM..

Takes the info direct from the ECU, in digital format, so the times are bang on..

With the RSM I timed my 1/4 at 14.9, then went to the pod and got a 14.8. so there you go...
