thats ok nothing big like games or stuff iz gonna be used onit i just need a high version of windows to connect to the router all itll be doing is occasional internet and some windows games.
my dads machine oh and some photo editing

get an 800mhz processor or something for like £20, might be worth it

It will run OK. I've seen it run on a PII 233, 32 MB RAM and 500 MB Hard Disk Drive. Was slow but run fine. If you can afford it get a bigger HDD and more RAM.
