i 'think' its an RB30 (or bigger)

a 3.0 version of the RB26 in 32/33/34 GTRs

No idea what the turbo is... but it is BIIIG

regarding the turbo.... good for 1000hp

yes it'll be pretty 'laggy' but with decent cc and gearing it wont matter. Its not going to be idling round town at 1000rpm in 4th

'lag' is for Top Gear and old tech turbos from the 80's

if the gearing is nice and close no

for instance on out current wide/long geared 5sp GTR it drops about 2200rpm on low gear shifts

eg 8000-6000ish rpm

He runs a sequential with closer gearing so will prob see a rev drop of around 1600rpm between gears
