 | Nope, they shouldn't leave the station unless they only have a 2wd brake tester and your vehicle is 4wd. In that case they take it for a road test and take an on board brake metre.

 | Depends whether they offer a health check, which can sometimes include a short road test

 | Did you check for damage at all? you never know, nails in tyres, windscreen chips etc. I'd complain to the manager anyway, tell them you know they shouldn't go off site.

 | Theres nothing damage wise that I have noticed when i washed it tonight.

I know theres nothing wrong with the car so just went with the cheapest place i could find, obviously i didnt read the small print that says they take your car for a quick smash when your not looking. It was a family owned place so doubt complaintes etc will make any difference. I shall invest my time into never going again and bad mouthing, raaar

 | i would go back and complain, probably give you your money back if they're a small company and don't want trading standards on their case.
