 | Redlines future is in doubt, the publishers are thinking of pulling the plug.

 | They seem to have tried to change more with the scene compared to the likes of max power and fast car, bought the last issue for holiday reading and wasn't all that bad.

 | I really like what they do now. Solely focused on tuning.

 | don't need magazines with the internet, back in the 90's you would only see local cars, unless you bought a magazine, even just to dream about the parts from demon tweeks they were worth buying.

now with project threads online and car specific clubs, most people have heard of, or know all about the cars before they get featured, you even get pics of the shoot before the mag comes out

 | Not really much point in 'liking' that page if you're not going to buy it.

Exactly that. If you want to save the magazine, buy it. There's not much else you can do. Like any company, a magazine survives on revenue - if they aren't selling, it's unjustifiable.

 | All these online petitions and shit rarely do any good, the FB page is the same. It may get millions of likes, but if people don't buy the actual magazine to support it and convince them that they should carry on then there's no point.

 | Those who are saying its shit.... have you actually read it in the last 3 years? Honestly? Its the only mag I still buy as its aimed the majority of cars we drive... Tuned Road cars, with decent tests and decent cars plus useful information.

Why are people so against a mag that these forums were basically spawned from? The enjoyment of tuning/modifying our cars

 | People arent buying them because you can get the exact same information, and far far more information on the internet. You can see a cover car being built and watch it as it happens, all the events that they feature are all online the same day via places like Facebook and such.

 | Redline is an above average magazine (imo). Not to sure how much I would miss it if it was to disappear though . The best issue they ever had was the first of the redesigned mag with the Reyland Cosworth on the cover.
