 | How do I get rid of this or is it past the point of no return? (Not the reflection of the Primera before some smart arse chips in about that) Washed some bird shit off a few weeks ago and it had burnt the paint. It'd hardly been on there any time before I washed it off, it was a very hot day so that maybe played a part in it.

Tried Super Resin Polish but it wont touch it. Actually ended up causing a few new scratches when I polished it
Is it a sand down and machine polish job? |

 | It's a wet sand job unfortunately mate!
Nothing apart from wet sanding will touch that, just be careful you don't strike through the lacquer.

Got the dual action on it and got them out

 | I don't think the paint is that good on the Mini, marks really easy. Never had any marks like that on the Audi.

Not sure if there any detailers around here. Would love a full detail on it but before too long it'll be winter and ruined again so almost seems a bit pointless

 | My roof and bonnet are full of them. Not too bothered about the bonnet as it needs painting because of the stonechps!

Normally I would agree 100% but when it happend to me I could see it from my window in work. Rushing from my desk to get my emergency bird shit removal kit on the go would seem a little OTT

 | I washed it off as soon as I saw it. Always do wash it off as soon as I can but obviously wasn't quick enough this time.
