Any of you got any "inside" information on when the BlackBerry Bold 9900 is due for release?

So potentially by the end of next month Jambo? I was debating on the Torch 2 as well but haven't heard any news of a uk release date. Would prefer it for the bigger screen for web browsing.

You got a link for the Torch 2? I had not heard they where updating it. Very unusual for BB to be bringing out so many models.

Theres a video on the youtube channel of BB that shows the 9900 in operation looks awesome, but im not a fan of the look of it.

Was that the Engadget video? Watched that last night.

One of the links I've come across for the Torch 2 http://www.phonearena.com/news/BlackBerry-Torch-2-shows-off-its-pretty-VGA-touchscreen---1.2GHz-processor_id17992

Oh FFs. The one thing I was put off with with the Torch was the screen doesn't look as sharp as my Bolds screen

Just read 3rd quarter for a release date, that's in the states though so not sure how that will hold over here? Getting bored of my iPhone now and want a new toy.

You ended up with a Torch didn't you buddy? Just got back from CPW after playing with a 9780, was alot nicer to use than I expected. Just not paying their £120 for handset when P4U will do it for £30 on the same 12 month contract

I Had a 9700 before and loved it which is essentially exactly the same (Mine was running OS6) so recommend them highly. I do love my torch, it lacks the down right ruggedness of the 9780 tho

the keypad is the best bit. Its perfectly formed IMO. You need to learn how to type on it

Well got my 9780 today, really impressed with it so far. Was handy being able to sync all my outlook contacts to it to save keying in numbers and that iTunes syncs with it also. Merry christmas to me.

Great phone. Kinda wish I had gone for one of those instead of the Torch
