I know some people are thinking they have cracks but not on the tread, surely they are okay until the thread dissapears...but imagine if they explode at 100mph...few people can control a blowout at that speed.

Behave. Cracks anywhere on a tyre is not good news. Lets be honest, the tyre is the only thing between you and the road. I know that I would want something suitable, and not some dried out prune with cracks and flat spots.
