he didn't say what manifold it was jr, i will try and find out tho

i'm thinking i'd rather pay more for a well spec'd xe that's been done properly

its potentially well done, or it could be bodged to fuck, your only know when actully looking at it there though

with every xe theres allways the potential to rebuild it though

mmm I wonder if he means, float springs or the actually throttle springs, I don't see any connecting fuel pipe either, maybe its underneath on them webbers instead of on top like dellortos.

That's my mates, it's a good car, looks smart!

Rich when you saw it getting towed it popped a driveshaft, was fixed within 10 minutes of it being home!

Just needs setting up and it'll be rapid.

Reckon pistons are mahle or however its spelt. Not sure if the ever did 87mm ones etc

Given death yes. And has been seen doing very well. Lets be honest, anything like that has been built for that purpose. As jr said. If bought, get it set-up again just to be sure. Could be a very good buy

spoken to him before about this and seen it. nice car but hes had a few problems by the sounds of things.

oh and i would make sure reciepts are there as a couple of his mates seemed the ebay resistor mod type.

It needs the Carbs setting up in it, that's the main problem with it, 1st gear bogs a bit but after that it pulls like anything, I was suitable impressed, sounds good too on idle
