Well, overall im very pleased with the car! It feels like quite a nice jump in power from the 400bhp one although not quite as mental as I was expecting, however in the wet it's a different story - 65mph and foot to the floor = back end out!
I'll get some pics of it up when I've given it another clean etc, but I took a quick vid yesterday to get a rough idea of the speed. Bearing in mind I was pulling out of a junction so not accelerating hard right at the start...

Like I said, I was turning out of a junction onto the main road so couldn't go full throttle. I'll get some more pics/vids up when the roads are dry and I feel 100% comfortable in the car but at least it gives an idea

That is about a 6 second 0-60.. Does seem a big slow. But the pull from 60-115 is impressive.

Hmmm yeah i'd have expected more drama with 500bhp. I remember going in AK's 500bhp Supra in the wet & that went & sounded like the world was ending!!

tbh the first vid doesn't sound like he's using full throttle i've driven a 400bhp gts and i ragged its nutts off, was reving it longer and it felt like the turbo came on boost and held it longer than the first vid.. Get a vid up of giving it death and it will change peoples tune..

Back end goes out really easily in a standard gts-t, extra Bhp ftl. I've been in a couple of fast ones, they don't live up to the gt4 legend, imo.

Looks fast higher up the gears, the 500+cars I've been out in have all been mental fast when on full throttle.

id agree with nic tbh, for shear fact no normal person would ever boot a 500bhp car out of a junction in the wet, plus you seem to change into 2nd at 30, 3rd at 60, 4th at 90? No way is that full throttle.

I look forward to see vids in a straight line in the dry

Agree'd for a briskish pull-off thats impressive

I've never really "watched my speedo before", I was curious so I had a little go in the Impreza.. I held the phone with my hand on the wheel (private road ofcourse) so I wasnt going to exactly launch it but I pulled off and gave it a little bit of beans:

Never realised how fast it gets to 30!
