I was just wondering what the water temps everyone is getting on their XE Corsa and what radiator your using?
Reason I ask is mine runs at about 100 celsius before the fan kicks in.

Is you're thremo working? it should kick in about high 90's i thought, and i use a standard corsa rad.
And it that sitting stationary or moving? if stationary it'll climb and climb till the fan kicks in.

Fan should kick in about 102
Normal temp should be about 90/95

temp gets to 100 whilst in traffic, when driving it does sit a bit lower. Fan does kick in at the right temp.
I'm just used to my cars to generally stay around the 90-95 mark.

They do shoot up in traffic. Mine sits below 90, so does my mate's one.

Mine usually never goes over 95 and I'm not running a fan. The heaters just get blasted if I ever get stuck in traffic.

it doe's actually, as the warm air in you're engine bay is being pushed into the car. Like another radiator for the car, not the most effective way, but in emergency or in traffic it will work.
Not sure if thats the correct reason why, but i've had to do it, and it works.

same for mine in queue at crail etc. once it gets to about 95ish whack heaters on full it doesnt get a lot higher, 97 or so then stays there. fan doesnt work on mine.

You are right tho m8 because the coolant passes throught the heater matrix which disapates heat from the cooling system which cools your car down

Its nothing to do with the air in your engine bay, just the coolant getting passed through another radiator (heater matrix) with a fan blowing through it.
Its exactly like the radiator at the front of the engine but smaller and ducted into the cabin.
