Has anyone ever dealt with these guys before?

I've just had a quote from them that is cheaper than anyone else especially considering there's no voluntary excess and the compulsory excess is only £50 whereas all the others want minimum £250 voluntary excess plus minimum £100 compulsory. This seems too good to be true and I've never heard of them

Same level of cover as the others, only thing I'm not sure of is if it includes third party on other cars

Well I just rang them up to go through the quote with them and they tried to tell me the quote was for £575 where as the quote I had on the screen in front of me from 27th October was £425!

So she went off to ask someone then claimed the quote I had done was in October which it was and that I have done a new quote today which is the £575 which I hadn't and that their rates have changed for November! So I told her I'm not happy with that as I've got the original quote at £425 on the screen now infront of me and that it says the quote is valid till 20th November 2009.

Anyway she goes off and comes back saying she has spoken to someone in the I.T. department and they can see my £425 quote and will honour it. So result in a long winded fashion

Although I had to accept a £350 excess instead of the £50.

Got third party cover now I am 25 as well

So I'm not sure if to recommend them or not, at least they did honour the quote but not without a lot of hassle on my part!

They always try and pull the fast one, just make sure their underwriters aren't based in Iraq.

BTW I rang Directline up who I am currently insured with and offered me £642 as a renewal. He said he'd see if he could better it and it came up with £675
