Im currently selling my dads car on ebay, its had alot of intrest and i have recieved alot of e-mails about it.

Its currently sorn so no Tax but ive had about 3 people ask how can they collect the car without tax?
ive said trailer it away but obviously you could just risk it.
The question is that as soon as that person has paid for the car and driven away with there name on the new owners doc, my dad no longer had any responsibility for the car does he? like if its caught un taxed and un insured?

get a bit of paper, write time/date/a wee description, copy it, then both of you sign it

so when police come you go, nah car was sold at blah blah blah
