As long as the springs are still secure when the car is jacked up.

And if the tyre doesnt catch the arch, or if theres any wear on the tyre wall they will proberly say its a fail and put it down to it being lowered, which is what they did to my old one.

My car failed, and one of the things was healights beam aim. It was too low and that was with standard springs on the back and 60mm on the front. I did that as i have jacked it up before and one spring came out.
Now the place ive took it to for the headlight aim have said they might not be able to get the aim right as the car is lowered 60 on the front and standard at the back!

Sounds like you've got a very unfriendly tester. Nobody else you'd be able to take it to?

the garage said they aim was too low and told me i wouldnt get it to the right hight without putting my standard springs back on the front. And he didnt even try. So im gonna do it my self and hope for the best.
Fooking me off because last year i had the m.o.t done with the same set-up of 60mm on the front and standard springs on the back. Everything passed fine then!
