Haven't got one atm but had a few in the past:



Daihatsu F50 2.5 Diesel with Suzuki sj shell. It was a beastie, loved it!



Range Rover bobtail, 3.5 v8. It made the best sound ever, I've got it as my ring tone



SJ410. Top speed around 45mph, but skipped past landrovers off road

Heres one of my mates old ones. Was an ols land rover 90 chassis with defender bodywork on top fitted with a 200tdi engine. He sold it to a bloke who had hawks and i think it got nicked off the bloke.

Pick it up thursday. Not gonna go mad with it, first off roader.

Orderd jack up kit today. Going to get som big big off road tyres , and a snorkel and have some fun.

Are the wheels bigger i assume? Been looking at them tyres already. £300 for 4.

I understand tyres are everything so we are going to get some 80/20% offroad/road tyres.

I had a vitara 3" lift insaturbo sahara's etc. sadly blew it up

then i bought this 3 weeks ago and it cut out in the middle of swimming as the snorkel came off where it goes through the wing

Nomate we were driving with it over the bonnet all day. It did start playing with my mates hilux surf though but they are full of electrics

It fills up very quickly when you stop and yes it was over the steering wheel, it looks abit like the the front window it up but its down and the reflection is from the water haha

Yeh proberly would of been able to get it going but couldnt really be bothered so when everyone gets back into them ill proberly buy another one. land rovers FTW btw.

frontera's once lifted with a decent set of tyres are ace off road our old one was a loads of fun and never once went wrong, would love one again.

This thread has made me go look and i've found one that looks decent

off road fronty

is alright, never do any off roading per say

goes fine through the fields and building sites though

Already ordered a 2" lift kit for it, and going to be purchasing some steel wheels and big off road tyres soon as i find some cheap enough

diesels are ok under water as they dont have HT systems, aslong as exhaust and intake are raised out of water

vitara wheels are 16 inch, and the insa turbos for 16 inch are in a 85 profile so are bigger
