(sorry for stealing this image but i need it for an example )

Bascially my sport dont have that little compartment to store things in under the ashtray (under the headunit)...

Will one of these from... say... an LS or Merit fit a Sport or is the reason there not there because the gearbox or whatever is under there is too big?

There is a control unit of some description under there on a Sport if i remember correctly.

there is an ecu under there in later models so i believe not

no you wont be able to get one to fit your sport unless you can move the airbag ecu as thats under where the tray is supposed to be

Its the airbag ECU under there, you can't fit it

could move the air bag ECU, more hassle than it's worth tbh imo bbq

i have a black one of those that has the pocket in.

but you will have to find a home for, or remove the airbag unit
