want to get a new aerial for my astra H as mine has gone missing but i want to get a shorter one, what ones will fit and look good?

found it to have better reception than the standard one.
only downside I saw was that it turned yellowish gold after a couple of weeks. nothing some matt black contact paper and matt black paint didn't solve and it actually looks nicer than it was when i bought it

Same here! 2 weeks and it was a bronze sort of colour. It eventually settled at a silver colour and I don't mind it tbh, matches my mirrors.
