Its amazing power for a scooter lol, great for round town and commuting as theres not much that will beat you off the lights!

They stopped making them in 02, as along with the RS250 they didnt meet the euro emissions regs and it would have been too costly to make it comply so instead they did a 4 stroke.

Daimo no one is claiming they are superbike fast, but for a scooter you have to appreciate them. Ive ridden milles, ZX10's, R1s and fireblades and yes they are mindblowingly fast but the kid in me still appreciates the littler things like scooters and 125's for bombing about on. Id sooner be on an SR125 going through the city centre or to the shops on than on an RSV1000!

Yeah, but power wheelies on a scooter...

Aye, if your yanking the handlebars up and sitting with your ass over the rear seat...

Next up, rear pegs out and neon crackcase covers

I always ride a scooter with the rear pegs out and my feet on them, feels a more natural position lol. Can do standup wheelies then or on a sport city 125 get my knee down lmao!

Honestly on a bike that weighs about 60-70kg and 18bhp its not hard to wheelie off the power.... you should see scooter racing at cadwell park, the tuned 72's often flip going over the mountain lol.

My Zip 172 was "tuned" Hit 26bhp on the dyno.
1 piston makes for good torque : )
The mechanic at ron comptons was about 16-17 stone, full throttled it, flipped him clean off
