Well I went on my first outing with the scottish MLR lot on the west of scotland run.
Met up with a lot of them at 8.30am in the services close to my house then headed to paisley in glasgow at half 9 to meet the rest.
Was a great turn out and the weather was mixed 
Was more like the gumball tbh as a lot of the guys really gave it the beans on the same roads as Top Gear used for the evo/subaru episode.

Only petrol station in Oban selling super unleaded and from one pump only. 20 evo's packed the forecourt.

looks like a good day pity about the weather
i was up those roads on saturday, wemt from tarbet up to oban to see the mother in law then back down via loch lomond
was up at loch lomond a few months ago and went to the drovers inn
was sitting in the car park saying this cant be the place

awsome roads up there, went with my corsa this summer but it was with the unhealthy 1.4 in and full of camping gear so didnt get the most enjoyment from them, going back next year tho with the 5 turbo

Thats Dav's one, I bought my vortex gen off him.
His has carbon everywhere including the bonnet, wings, full roof etc.
One of the quickest of the day was there in the morning but had to pull out due to boost issues, it was running over 500bhp as well. Had a play with it on the way there lol.
Next quickest was the evo3, looked tame compared to some of them but was running a stroker engine 
Nicest one for me tho was the Red Evo 6 tommi mak with the white revolutions, was an older chap that owned it but it was spotless, thought he was gonna drive it like a pensioner but most struggled to keep pace with him all day

Thats the "rest and be thankful" and "inveraray".
You should have gone through Lochgilphead got some fuel there and gone to Oban after, the roads are better going that way IMO.
