Say someone has gone into the back of you do you have to claim through your insurance and have you got to pay the exess on your own insurance or is it all claimed through their insurance?

If they are admitting liability you can claim through theirs.

If there is a dispute you'll have to go through yours.

Thats alright then.

Only asking as someone has gone into the back of my girlfriend this morning on the m6 and has cracked/flaked paint of her bumper.

He has said it was his fault and was nice about it so in theory should get sorted.

Only bad thing is she is trying to sell the car atm to use as a deposit for a new mini so looks like thats going tobe on hold which she wont like.
