Im not a porkie fan so would't want to drive it.

Just leave it sat in my polished floor garage to stare at and have the smugness of owning one.

A car well ahead of its time with its 4x4, 201mph top speed (first production car to break it wasn't it?)Im sure i've read about the awful gearbox, turning circuit, suspension etc?

As far as i know the 959 engine was based on the 962 engine. They were 2.9 twin turbo (i think) not 3.6 twin turbo.

They are the ultimate of the 911 I suppose, if thats what you want. Best of the aircooled, which is always going to the pick of the enthusiasts hence the high price.

Im not an enthusiast though so would feel wrong bashing the living daylights out of a 200k museum piece on a daily basis. I couldnt leave one of those out in the pissing rain, not wash it for a month & nip to tesco in so its no good to me!!

They're quite popular wheels (due to the fact that they're circular porn). I think they came on the 993 RS too. I think the GT2 wheels have a deeper dish though.
