Hi guys

I am about to fit my 1.6 16v sport engine into my car tommorow when my mounts and drive-shafts are here.

I have fitted a manual steering rack and I don't want to be fitting air-con back in.

If I remove the power steering pump and air conditioning pump from the engine will this free up any bhp on the standard 106?

Also any ideas on what belt will fit when I have removed them?

Thanks

i removed both and it doesn't feel any different. But they are both pretty weighty so i suppose it's a good thing.
I have an xe lump in, so makes for more room too

Do it. I have on my xe just feel like you have more control really. And it does way a bit to.

I hoped this thread was about Reebok pumps. Sadly I was wrong!
