what the 1.6 16v sport like on fuel round town. i no it will use more than a 1.2 round town but i want to no if i get 1 will i need shares in shell ?

what mpg people get round town and on a run ? cheers

If its anything compared to my VTR>1.2 clio then its huge amount difference

my 1.6 sport was awsome on fuel round town.. use to do about 35-40mpg

never worked it out, but tbh i haven't really noticed a big difference in it from my 1.4 8v! maybe an extra £5-£10 a week...it's worth it though

if rag the shit out of mine not many, but if i drive by the law i get 70miles to £10 so aint to bad

VTR can get that too if you behave

1.6 Sport is nowhere near as good on fuel though. 35-40mpg if you're lucky!

when i had mine i used to get 100 miles to £20 worth of petrol that was in 2007 tho so petrol was a bit cheaper than it is now

i remember useing it for work and in about 3 weeks i spent about £150 on petrol but i got about half of it back through work

not bad tbh then for a 1.6 just dont want to be at the petrol station every day lol.

i though it was crap on petrol lol my brothers clio 172 was better on petrol than mine, my corsa 1.8 sri is a bit better

it depends how you drive tho and if you have any mods

Parkers says 38mpg, but being a bit heavy footed, i'd say its more like 33mpg

Yup mines over fueling, pops flames etc etc gets 25-30 mpg. 35mpg on the m/way and 20 mpg if i spit flames with every gear change :-)

mine is surprisingly good, no worse than my 1.4 xr 205 to be fair, i do fill up a lot but then i boot it alot..brilliant though if im behaving

125miles to £20 and thats with a little heavy right foot
