Thinking of selling my astra and buying one of these for a bit of off roading fun but have a few questions to anyone who has/had one..

I'll be getting a SWB if i get one and just curious what are these like on fuel just driving round town?

Also how much is 6 months tax for them as i know they are 2.5/2.8td

and any more help/advice is much appriciated

my fella has a 3.5td lwb, (also known as the shogun ) tax, im not sure what it is but it isnt much more than the corsa. fuel wise, well lets put it this way, he wont use it unless he has too but that is alot bigger than the one your looking at, also parts arnt cheap for them

personal experiece of the older pajero is that there shit, horrid steering, horrid ride, diesals are under powered and tend to bucket out black smoke, there interiors are like a montego

We used to have a 3L v6 petrol SWB shogun, no problems at all, averaged 17MPG though
The interiors are crap but thats what they are designed for, steering is rubbish on motorways as you have to make constant adjustments to go in a straight line, but thats what it is designed for...to go off road so the steering is vague to reduce vibration though the wheel.
Also a nice proper 2WD, 4WD, low, high transfer box.

looked like that, same bull bar but with spot lights and no chrome ladder, was a beast TBH

It didn't sell well in Spain as "pajero" means "masturbation". Hope that helps.
