Looking at a new car for my gf and these seem to be pretty damn good on fuel on paper but has anyone got any experience with them?

Its the 110ps one ive been looking at for her.

Go the whole hog and get the 1.9 150

Astra's are really good cars and look good with the XP kit on

Thing is she does 500miles a week so needs the fuel consumtion, have looked at a sri td today though and she did like it.

If she's doing 500 miles per week i wouldn't be buying anything new. I did this with the pug and regret it.

I should have bought something like a Golf TDI, piled a load of miles on it and then sold on.

You loose to much on new cars!!

I was looking on Autotrader a few weeks back. Can pick up a diesel Clio for 3.5k with 12k on the clock.

No idea how reliable they are but i've had no issues with my pug in 50k apart from the rad spliting.

If its mpg shes bothered with then get the 1.7.. I rarely average more than 45mpg in my 150 SRi

Yea thats what im thinking Kano, havent realy looked into mpg once mapped yet though

Mine is mapped.. Any differenc eit makes I use by driving it harder..
