I need a new rear tyre on mine, Its squared off from the last owner. Tried rounding it off and its done absolutely sod all.
Plus its looking pretty thin on the tread in the middle. Think its time to kill it off. Huge burnout time?

Worst mistake of my motoring life ever.

You get more respect from drivers if you were wearing a hoodie, over a baseball cap, in a 1.0 corsa, with 8" tailpipe, neon washer jets and 12" plastic spinners with McDonalds trays under the rear wheels n drum n bass pounding from an 8" bass tube.
It wasn't reliable (ok it was Italian, fair play to the reliability). But a fuel leak only a few weeks after brand new purchase, then being charged to take it to the dealer.
Brake calipers needed replacing even with maintenance, bolts rounded off easy. Parts were expensive, and it would get beaten by 180cc 2 stroke peds off the lights.
I got knocked off, often, it was gutless, had no storage space, and drivebelts tended to snap after 3000KM (yup km) and you needed an airgun to replace it.
I was hit from behined from what i still say was a drunk driver, and left lying in the middle of the road.
Exhaust rotted after 1 year, despite constent washes, it then went through another one within 6 months. I was not paying £300 for a stainless item which had a "proper" bikes rear can end on the end, and they sounded like a big set of boomer farts whilst sitting in the bath.
It needed filling up every 2 days.
OFf the top of my head, im sure theres plenty more.....

VXR/Daimo Is spot on with scooters there^^
Everyone wants to steal them.
Max wheel size is 14" offers little grip in the rain.
Stopped by police all the time.
I had the 2stroke 125 with 172 cylinder and head, pm pipe, some porting work etc ran for 2 years without even changing a spark plug, still would never buy one again.

Thats a detuned 4 stroke meant for reliability as well.
Sure a 5-10 mile pop to town, but 27 miles each way is clearly too much for it (but really, is it THAT many miles????)

Bloody hell! Thanks for the heads up mate. I'll never be getting one of those then. Sorry you went through all that shite. You have my sympathy.
Sounds like the Alfa Romeo of the scooter world only even worse. Was it an Italjet?
Incidentally, your first paragraph made me jointly nose-mouth laugh so hard that I spat snot and spit over my monitor so i'm off for a screen wipe now.
