is there anything to look out for on this year corsa (w reg 2000)
common faults etc?? I know about the front chassis legs always going on corsas (heard it was common)
its a 1.6 sport, i will try to go out for a test drive and have a good look at it, inside and out
anyone know whats the recommand millage for a cambelt change (if not ill have a look tomorrow at work..) its done around 91k for those that cant be bothered to look
Not meaning to sound gay or boy raceish by saying this but is it nippy (quickish i know its only 1.6) am currently driving a old ford mondeo turbo derv it lacks a little bit n getting up and going if you know what i mean
cheers and hello again

looks good if you like rust, scratches and cars that smell of dog
on the plus side its ok for the money and as long as the engine runs smooth and no signs of trouble it should be ok!
cambelt every 40k or 5 years on these

hehe the rust scratches and the smell are all going to be sorted trust me!
i hate the smell of dog best way to get rid of it anyone know? wet vac or something similar ( i dont have a wet vac)
rust ill sort out no problem and the scratches should only be surface scratches if it has been parked near the bush (ill try t cutted if not ill get it sorted)
and thanks for getting back to me on the cambelt ill see when it last had one

ok a few points to watch for on these cars are:
check for any signs of exhaust smoke (blue, white or black are all signs of trouble)
youll know the obvious stuff like water and oil levels and make sure they not mixed together, and theres no sign of headgasket going.....
make sure engines not tappy and cambelts been done as well as rollers/idlers and tensioner and waterpump! vauxhalls are well know for cambelt failing!
if it coming with 12months mot from him just make sure you check advisory sheet aswell see what needs doing soon....
