Do the bolt in cages need any welding at all? 'Cus i was looking at an OMP one earlier and the website said it still requires some welding.

Yes, the anchor points on the floor will need welding.

Ok so silly question, whats the advantage of a bolt in cage over a weld in one?

Oh i see so it's a case of welding in the anchor points as ollie said, and then the rest of the cage can be unbolted and removed/modified as necessary (rather than being solid pipes).

Even with a bolt in your still need a spreader plate otherwise the result will not be pretty if you ever need to use the cage in a crash
