I don't want to do it, and regret it. Or loose power, just wondering if it will increase fuel or anythink.

No, unless you constantly have your foot to the floor to hear the extra grumble it will be making.

it'll increase the amounts of visits you make to the pumps, not by much, but it will.
Then again, with a 1litre you probably have excellent mpg anyway.
If you regret it, buy another not-restricted one out the local scrap.

I'll just give it a nice new panel filter then, and leave the box as it is. And yes the mpg is awesome

It's not a moped, the airbox can't be 'de-restricted'.

of coarse it can. There are parts within the airbox restricting maximum airflow...so you can derestrict it to make it louder (more air flow).
Anyway, you don't de-restrict moped airboxes (most of the ones I have seen are empty boxes with a filter in the middle), you replace them with ones that provide better airflow, I think derestricting is to do with rings limit fuel flow etc.

The airbox on my Aprillia was restricted.
You can start taking bits out of your Corsa airbox if you like, you can also tell your mates that you've de-restricted it. But all you'll achieve is the ability to make a bit more noise. The 'restrictions' in the engine are in the manifold design and the size of the ports e.t.c.
